Job summary

Leidos is hiring licensed behavioral health professionals to join the MFLC Child and Youth Behavioral team at NAS Whidbey Island, WA for the 2026-27 school year. The role supports Broad View Elementary and Coupeville Middle/High School during a 9-month calendar aligned with the school year.

Minimum requirements include a master’s in Behavioral Health Professions and an independent license (LCSW, MHC, MFT, LPCC, Psychologist), US citizenship, and the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Behavioral Health Professions (MS/MSW/MA/PhD).
• Valid independent license in the mental health field (LCSW, MHC, MFT, LPCC, Psychologist).
• U.S. citizen; able to pass a basic background check and Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Work at schools with military youth and teens.
• Provide coaching, guidance, and behavior management modeling for staff and parents.
• Offer presentations on social skills and social-emotional learning.
• Promote creativity and positivity using approved materials.
• Build rapport with parents by attending installation and community events.
• Assist with transitions to new schools and homes.
