Job summary

Poppy's Therapeutic Corner is seeking a licensed School Based Mental Health Therapist to join our team. You will diagnose and treat psychological disorders, teach communication skills, and guide youth through crises in a school setting.

Responsibilities include assessments, individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, and collaboration with school staff and families to promote positive outcomes for students. Licensure in Ohio is required and licensed interns are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Licensed mental health clinician required (LPC/LSW/LPCC/LISW/LPCC-S/LISW-S/MFT).
• Licensed Interns are welcome to apply.
• Previous experience as a mental health therapist preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Highly organized and capable of coordinating with school staff.

Responsibilities

• Assess and develop treatment plans for students' mental health needs.
• Provide individual and group therapy addressing anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral issues, and social skills.
• Respond to crises with immediate intervention and coordinate with school and community resources.
• Collaborate with administrators, teachers, counselors, and special education staff to support students' mental health.
• Engage families to support treatment goals and maintain communication with stakeholders.
• Coordinate referrals to external providers and ensure continuity of care.
