The therapist collaborates with school personnel, families, caregivers, students, Agape staff, and community providers to address mental health concerns, strengthen protective factors, reduce barriers to academic and personal success, and connect clients and families with additional services and supports when needed. Through this collaborative approach, the therapist helps create environments where students and families experience greater hope, connection, stability, and opportunity to flourish. This role reports to the Director of Clinical Services.

  • Collaborate regularly with school administrators, school counselors, school social workers, teachers, student-support teams, Agape staff, and community providers to coordinate services while maintaining applicable confidentiality requirements and professional boundaries.
  • Develop and present psychoeducational workshops, prevention programming, and mental health resources for students, caregivers, school personnel, and other individuals served by Agape.
  • Collect, maintain, and submit accurate caseload, service-delivery, referral, demographic, and outcome data required for VCIF grant monitoring, evaluation, compliance, and reporting.
