Job summary

Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is seeking a School Based LPN to join our team in Columbus, GA. The role focuses on student health, assessments, and coordinating with school staff to support children's well-being within the educational setting.

You will administer medications, develop and update individualized healthcare plans (IHPs), and communicate with families, physicians, and district nursing leadership.

Qualifications

• LPN nursing license.
• CPR Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments and clinical judgment for student health concerns
• Administer medications, treatments, and manage chronic conditions according to care plans.
• Develop, update, and oversee individualized healthcare plans (IHPs) and emergency action plans.
• Communicate with families, physicians, and district nursing leadership regarding student health needs.
• Maintain accurate health records, documentation, and compliance with state and district guidelines.
• Respond to medical emergencies and coordinate care with EMS when needed.
