Job summary

Covelo Group is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a school-based role in Ramona, CA. Work Monday through Friday with no nights or weekends, earning up to $22/hour and weekly pay in a predictable school calendar setting.

You will monitor student health, assist with daily care, support clinical tasks as trained, and maintain precise medical records under the direction of the school nurse. This position emphasizes safety, dependability, and compassionate care for students.

Qualifications

• Active California CNA certification required.
• Experience in school health settings or working with children preferred.
• Ability to follow established care plans and health protocols.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and record student vital signs and health observations.
• Assist students with daily health and personal care needs.
• Support respiratory treatments and medical equipment as directed.
• Assist with care involving feeding tubes, catheters, and tracheostomies within trained scope.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and communicate concerns to the school nurse.
• Contribute to a safe, supportive school-day environment.
