Job summary

The Baker Center for Children and Families invites applications for a Clinical Coordinator (Grades 6-12) based in Boston, MA. This on-site, 11-month leadership role oversees clinical services and supervision of staff across the school, supporting universal screening, crisis response, and collaborative student care.

Designed for experienced clinicians, the position emphasizes supervision, program development, and trauma-informed practices within a school setting.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work or related field required.
• Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with MA licensure in good standing required.
• 5+ years of clinical experience with children/adolescents in school/behavioral health settings.
• At least 2 years of clinical supervision/leadership experience.
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices and trauma-informed care.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical supervision and staff training.
• Oversees the implementation of clinical services and universal screening.
• Supports crisis intervention and risk assessment.
• Provides regular classroom team supervision and co-facilitates floor meetings.
• Manages admissions processes including clinical interviews with families and partners.
• Collaborates with educational and behavioral managers to integrate student services.
• Ensures clear clinical communication and decision-making within the department.
• Maintains caregiver communication and updates regarding crises and risks.
• Provides clinical coverage when staff are unavailable.
• Attends IEP and Case Conference meetings and contributes clinical input.
• Assists with psychiatric hospitalization screening referrals and mandated reporting.
