Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, OH is seeking a pediatric behavioral health clinician to provide clinical assessment, treatment, case management, and care coordination for children, adolescents and families across settings.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy, Ohio licensure, and a valid driver’s license. Intern-to-Hire options may apply; independent license preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited university in Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
• Ohio licensure required; independent license preferred.
• Valid Ohio driver’s license and auto insurance; background checks may apply.
• Intern-to-Hire: internal interns may be hired while awaiting full licensure with trainee registration.

Responsabilités

• Accurately assesses and documents client presenting problems, history, symptoms, mental status, and diagnosis.
• Develops specific, realistic, and measurable treatment goals and objectives.
• Employs strategies of intervention that are empirically supported and align with program expectations.
• Coordinates client care with other service providers and community resources to ensure continuity of care.
• Completes clinical charting and related paperwork per policy standards.
• Keeps current on pediatric psychopharmacology and collaborates with the team psychiatrist.
