Job summary

New Story Schools is seeking a Behavior Consultant to support students ages 5–21 with autism and related challenges. You will develop individualized behavior plans, train staff, and monitor progress within IEP-aligned goals to promote academic and social growth.

Work closely with teachers, therapists, and families to implement data-driven strategies, conduct FBAs, and adapt PBSPs. A Master’s degree in ABA or related field and 2+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in ABA, Psychology, Special Education, or related field.
  • Minimum of two years ABA service delivery, including FBAs and PBSPs, plus staff training.
  • Minimum of two years working with individuals with ASD and/or emotional/behavioral disorders.
  • Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis and positive behavior supports.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct functional behavioral assessments and develop individualized positive behavior support plans.
  • Provide behavioral consultation and progress monitoring for assigned students.
  • Train and support teachers and staff on implementing behavior strategies and data collection systems.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure behavioral goals align with IEP objectives.
  • Analyze behavioral data and adjust interventions to promote ongoing student success.
