Ampersand Therapy is hiring an American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter in Statesville, NC for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time position offers up to $40/hour and a supportive, women-led environment dedicated to equity and mentorship.

You'll provide direct ASL interpretation for a student during the school day, ensure smooth communication among students and staff, and help students access curriculum and social interactions. Licensure reimbursement and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Proof of EIPA score of 3.5 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct one-on-one interpretation in ASL for a student throughout the school day
• Facilitate communication between the student, peers, and staff
• Support access to curriculum and social interactions in the classroom
• Collaborate with the patient's educational team
