Wadsworth City Schools seeks a part-time aide to support Valley View Elementary School during the 184-day school year. The position runs 2.00 hours daily (11:45am–1:45pm) with a pay rate of $15.85–$19.42 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Two years of child care or aide certification preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an Educational Aide Permit through the Ohio Department of Education during employment.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of computers.
• Good organization skills.
• Ability to work cooperatively with other personnel.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Ability to perform clerical skills including, but not limited to filing, copying and record keeping.
• Must enjoy working with school age children.
• A working knowledge of copiers, faxes, and other devices commonly used in public schools.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Must have patience and be cheerful.
• Ability to successfully complete CPR/First Aid training.
• Ability to perform items as listed in the essential duties.
• Ability to communicate clearly and articulately.
• Successful validation of qualifications as determined by interview.
