Job summary

Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking After School Instructional Aides to support a student 1:1 or in small groups in an Orange County classroom for the 26/27 school year. The role includes supervision and delivering language, math and reasoning activities while planning lessons aligned to school objectives.

Prior experience with children is required and hours run after school, ~12:30pm–6:00pm. Compensation is up to $22/hour with weekly pay; benefits include health, dental, vision, life

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Current CPR certification if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Prior experience working with kids preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise student during after-school hours (1:1 or small group).

The Instructional Aide position involves supervision as well as utilization of language skills, mathematical skills, and reasoning skills, while also teaching with planning and implementing lessons based on division and school objectives.
