Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a School Aide to support students with instructional and behavioral needs in a school setting. The role reports to the special education department and supervising designee, assisting with mobility and therapeutic care as directed.

Contract - Full Time in Ontario, CA, paying $20 per hour for a 35-hour work week. Requires a high school diploma, CPR if applicable, health clearance, and compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Comply with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• The School Aide works with students requiring instructional and/or behavioral assistance under supervision of the special education department, teacher or supervising designee.
