Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a School Aide to support students in a school setting in Northville, MI. This contract-full-time role involves assisting students with instructional or behavioral needs under supervision by the special education team.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, be at least 18, and meet regulatory requirements. CPR, TB/PPD or chest X-ray, and a health certificate may be required per contract or state rules.

Responsibilities

• The School Aide works with students requiring instructional and/or behavioral assistance under the supervision of the special education department, teacher and/or supervising designee. They may also provide support services to assist students with personal, physical mobility and therapeutic care needs, as established by a rehabilitation health practitioner, social worker or other health care professional.
