Job summary

Amergis seeks a School Aide in Beloit, WI, to support students with instructional and behavioral needs under the supervision of the special education team. The role offers 35 hours per week, with an hourly rate of $20–$25, and weekly pay. No nights, weekends, or holidays, with benefits eligibility.

Requirements include a High School diploma or equivalent, 18+ years old, and health screening as per state regulations. CPR may be required; TB/health clearance also part of the process.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children.
• Experience dealing with extreme behavioral issues.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Current CPR certification if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current health certificate per contract or state regulation.

Responsibilities

• Assist students requiring instructional and/or behavioral assistance under supervision of the special education department, teacher and/or supervising designee.
• Provide support services to assist students with personal, physical mobility and therapeutic care needs as established by health professionals.
