Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a School-Age Childcare Site Supervisor for our Before and After School Program at William B. Tecler Elementary School in Amsterdam, NY for the 2026–2027 school year. The role follows the school calendar and offers part-time hours.

Morning 7:00–8:30 and afternoon 2:45–6:00 schedule options, with employer-paid childcare benefits for staff. Join a supportive team focused on safe, engaging activities for children ages 5–12.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with two years of direct experience working with children under 13 years of age
• School-age Child Care Credential or other recognized credential with one year of experience working with children under 13 years of age
• Associate’s degree in Child Development, Elementary Education, Physical Education, Recreation, or a related field

Responsibilities

• Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum including fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and other group activities as well as homework completion
• Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and act as a positive role model for children in the program
• Observe state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies
• Support program operations, which may include attendance records, registration, and staffing responsibilities
