Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring School-Age childcare staff for our After School Program at Cushing Community School for the 2026–2027 school year. This is a part-time, non-exempt role aligned with the school calendar, with an afternoon shift from 3:00 to 5:30 pm.

The role focuses on engaging children through play, fitness, STEAM, art, and homework support while modeling positive behavior and maintaining a safe environment.

Qualifications

• MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 18 years or older and hold a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience working with kids under 13 preferred.
• Required health clearance including TB screening.
• Positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability.
• Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while actively engaging with children.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate hands-on activities following Healthy Kids Curriculum (fitness, STEAM, academic, art, group activities) and homework completion.
• Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and act as a positive role model for children.
• Observe state guidelines, program policies, and school policies.
• Support program operations, including attendance records, registration, and staffing responsibilities.
