Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a School-Age Childcare Site Supervisor for our Before School Program at Brinckerhoff Elementary School in Fishkill, NY, for the 2026–2027 school year. The role is part-time and non-exempt, with a pay rate of $16.50 per hour and a schedule that follows the school calendar.

The Site Supervisor will lead activities, ensure a safe environment, and coordinate with families and staff, while promoting curiosity, creativity, and confidence in children aged 5–12.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent with two years of direct experience with children under 13.
• School-age Child Care Credential or other Office recognized credential with one year of experience with children under 13.
• Associate’s degree in Child Development, Elementary Education, Physical Education, Recreation, or a related field.

Responsabilités

• Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum including fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and other group activities and homework completion.
• Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and act as a positive role model for children in the program.
• Observe state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies.
• Support program operations, including attendance records, registration, and staffing responsibilities.

Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Candidates must meet ONE of the following qualification options:

• A high school diploma or its equivalent; and two years of direct experience working with children under 13 years of age.
• A School-age Child Care Credential or other Office recognized credential specific to the school-age developmental period, and one year of experience working with children less than 13 years of age.
• Associate’s degree in Child Development, Elementary Education, Physical Education, Recreation, or a related field.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Required health clearance, including TB screening, in accordance with state regulations.
• Must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability.
• Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while actively engaging with children throughout the day.
