Qualifications

• Experience working with kids in school, camp or daycare settings.
• High school diploma required; college credits or degree in education/child development preferred but not mandatory.
• Current CPR and First Aid training and clear background check.

Responsibilities

• Program Planning: design daily activities like games, crafts and quiet reading or homework time.
• Student Safety: supervise snacks, group games and outdoor play and ensure kids leave with approved adults.
• Staff Leadership: hire, train and guide part-time workers and helpers; create daily schedules.
• Family Communication: talk and write to parents about child progress and program news.
• Record Keeping: track daily attendance, snack counts and safety rules.
