Job summary

Mālamalama Waldorf School is seeking an experienced School Administrator to lead the administrative, operational, and community life of the school. Working with the Board of Directors, Faculty Chair, Executive Team, and the broader school community, this role supports the school’s mission, health, and long-term sustainability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, education administration, organizational leadership, or related field.
• Minimum of three years of administrative leadership experience and two years of supervisory experience.
• Experience budgeting, supervising staff, and coordinating complex operations; experience with boards/governing bodies.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office is required.
• Familiarity with Waldorf education, enrollment management, fundraising, nonprofit administration, AWSNA accreditation, and Hawaiʻi regulations preferred.
• U.S. work authorization; strong computer and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervision of non-faculty staff and oversight of school operations and regulatory compliance.
• Support of budget development and financial planning.
• Enrollment and outreach leadership; fundraising support and community relations.
• Facilities oversight and coordination; participation in accreditation and institutional development.
