California State University Dominguez Hills is seeking a Scholarship & Student Success Coordinator to coordinate institutional, donor-funded, and externally supported scholarship programs and advise students on eligibility and award processes.
Under supervision, the role analyzes program outcomes, improves processes, and partners with multiple campus units to enhance student recruitment, retention, and degree completion while supporting donor stewardship and reporting needs.
** Successful candidates in these temporary appointments may be appointed from a few days up to one year depending on the assignment. Temporary appointments must end on or before the end of the fiscal year, with the possibility of renewal if funds and/or program needs exist.

Classification Salary Range: $5,083 - $7,228 per month
The anticipated hiring range for this position is $5,083 - $5,200 per month.
The final salary is dependent upon qualifications and experience.

Under the general supervision of the Director of Financial Aid and Scholarships, the Scholarship & Student Success Coordinator coordinates and administers institutional, donor-funded, and externally supported scholarship programs that promote student recruitment, retention, persistence, and degree completion. The incumbent serves as a professional resource to students, faculty, staff, donors, and external partners by providing guidance regarding scholarship opportunities, eligibility requirements, application processes, and award administration while ensuring compliance with university, CSU, donor, and regulatory requirements.
The position coordinates scholarship initiatives including those funded through the Ballmer Gift and other institutional scholarship programs, monitors student participation and program outcomes, and collaborates with campus partners to enhance scholarship services and student success.
The incumbent also supports continuous improvement of scholarship administration through effective use of technology, standardized processes, and data informed recommendations to improve operational efficiency, increase student access to scholarships, and enhance the overall student experience.
