Sundt Construction in Temple, TX seeks a Scheduling Manager to serve as the in-house scheduling expert, coordinating CPM schedule creation and updates with the project team through all phases of each project.

You will assist with initial schedule development, conduct peer reviews, and customize Primavera reports to align with the Sundt Way, supporting project success and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Excellent facilitation and leadership skills with ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Effective communicator able to convey objectives to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Minimum 5 years continuous experience with CPM tools (SureTrak, P3/P5/P6) and 10 years of construction scheduling experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist project teams in incorporating design conflicts into the CPM schedule.
• Support claims development by analyzing CPM schedule performance.
• Help manage CPM schedules to coordinate means, methods, and resources.
• Lead CPM schedule review meetings at proposal, baseline, and update phases.

The Scheduling Manager will be Sundt's in?house scheduling expert, coordinating the CPM schedule creation and updating tasks with the project team. They will assist project teams with initial schedule development, conduct peer reviews of project schedules, and assist in schedule updating, troubleshooting and revisions throughout the life of a project as needed by the project team. The Manager will be responsible for customizing reports and other modifications inside of the Primavera application to adhere to the Sundt Way.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the project teams with the incorporation into the CPM schedule the effects from design conflicts and clarifications.
• Assists in the development of claims by providing analysis of the project CPM schedule performance.
• Assists the project team with the management of the CPM schedule for the successful execution of the work, including the coordination of the means and methods, manpower, equipment and material resources required to accomplish this goal.
• Conducts project CPM schedule review meetings at each of proposal, baseline and update phase.
• Develops proposal phase CPM schedules from project information provided by the estimating team and historical database.
• Ensures that project teams are developing project schedules in accordance with Sundt Way Policies and verifies that project teams are complying with project specification requirements.
• May assist the Talent Development department with the creation of online classes. Will teach Primavera P6 classes in person or utilizing distance learning technologies when appropriate.
• May supervise staff including: establishing and communicating performance feedback, determining training and development needs and conducting on?the?job training. May conduct Individual Development Reviews.
• Responsible for the setup of new jobs and schedule template within the Primavera system.
  

Minimum Job Requirements

• Excellent facilitation and leadership skills with proven ability to successfully facilitate cross?functional teams and build strong working relationships throughout all levels of an organization.
• E?ective communicator with excellent inter?personal skills capable of clearly communicating business objectives to a technical and non?technical audience.
• Minimum 5 years continuous experience with SureTrak, P3, P5, or P6 applications and a Minimum of 7?
  
  

10 years of construction jobsite experience (construction scheduling and sequencing).

• Must be capable of working with minimal supervision, handling multiple projects or assignments and diffusing confrontational situations and keeping groups focused and on task.
• Positive attitude, flexible problem solver with excellent analytical, communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient in use of current Microsoft desktop operating systems, Microsoft Office 2007 suite, and Microsoft Visio.
