Carle Health is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to manage payroll and scheduling coordination for Carle Foundation Hospital. This role backs up System Scheduling and Staffing Office and ensures efficient, effective staffing for each shift.

The position supports end-user assistance with the scheduling system, provides data entry and reporting, and works with department leaders to maintain balanced schedules and coverage across inpatient units.

• Provides timekeeper functions for CIA, Flex, PCA, and VRS team members.
• Provides accurate data entry, information retrieval, and reporting
• Reviews future departmental schedules to manage schedule change requests in such a way that preserves the balanced schedule
• Provides scheduling system end-user assistance.
• Provides administrative, secretarial, and clerical support for CIA, Flex, PCA, and VRS Department Leaders as well as the Operations Office.
• Answers telephone, and takes and delivers messages according to department communication standards.
• Assists in serving as a resource to staff, unit leaders, and house supervisors on policies, procedures, and office activites, as well as on the scheduling system.
• Coordinates inpatient daily staffing through forecasting, daily review and reporting, tracking and entering schedule updates, and extra shift initiatives
• Creates and maintains Hospital inpatient and clinical support services staff schedules according to departmental and housewide standards, to facilitate productivity, stewardship, and efficiency
• Coordinates the effort to fill open shifts based on forecasted need

Overview

The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for payroll and scheduling coordination for the Carle Foundation Hospital. They will also back up the System Scheduling Admin and the Staffing Office. The Staffing Coordinator will have working knowledge of payroll, the scheduling system, and the ability to make updates and corrections per policy guidelines. The Staffing Coordinator, System Scheduling and Staffing Office plays an important role in ensuring that inpatient units are scheduled and staffed efficiently and effectively for each shift.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $17.67per hour - $28.63per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health.
