Job summary

Children's Wisconsin in Milwaukee is seeking a part-time Scheduling Coordinator to develop schedules, enter data, and generate reports for the Clinical Resource Unit and Patient Care Services. You will be the resource for the staffing/scheduling software, ensuring data accuracy, training new users, and maintaining time and attendance records.

This role requires 2+ years in a hospital or health care setting, strong verbal and written communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work

Qualifications

  • Requires high school equivalency or diploma.
  • 2+ years experience with computers (databases, spreadsheets, word processing) in a hospital/healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains accuracy of staff scheduling/position control database for all Patient Care Services personnel.
  • Enters employee and staffing data into staff scheduling systems as required.
  • Communicates and trains new users on scheduling systems, policies, guidelines and scheduling accountability.
  • Maintains time and attendance records.
  • Assesses staffing resource needs and coordinates scheduling with leadership.

Is a resource for the use of the staffing/scheduling software system to ensure accuracy of the database and development of staff scheduling. **Essential Functions:*** Maintains accuracy of staff scheduling/position control database for all Patient Care Services personnel. Enters employee and staffing data into staff scheduling computer systems as required.* Communicates and supports/trains new users on the use of the scheduling systems, policy, guidelines and scheduling accountability.* Maintains time and attendance records.* Assess and communicates staffing resource needs in partnership with the Patient Care Services leadership and helps to coordinate all-calls and staff tracking for scheduling needs.* Performs system backups and maintenance as appropriate.* Maintains Patient Care Manager on-call schedule.**Education:*** High School graduate or Certificate of General Educational Development (GED) or High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED) Required**Experience:*** 2+ years of experience working with personal computers, computer applications (databases, spreadsheets, word processing), preferably in a hospital/health care environment.
