Job summary

Desert Radiology Solutions, LLC in Las Vegas is seeking an on-site Scheduling Specialist to support patient scheduling and eligibility for referring physician offices. You will manage scheduling workflows, handle calls, and utilize the RIS to ensure accurate exam preparation and communication.

The role requires knowledge of scheduling procedures, medical terminology, and eligibility practices, with emphasis on accurate documentation and efficient service.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of scheduling procedures, paperwork processing requirements, and various insurance coverages.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Knowledge of authorization and eligibility practices, medical terminology and paperwork processing requirements. Familiarity with CPT and ICD-9 coding.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to keyboard proficiently.

Responsibilities

• Addressing Patient Scheduling and Eligibility Functions for Referring Physician Offices.

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE :

• Knowledge of scheduling procedures, paperwork processing requirements, and various insurance coverages
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Knowledge of authorization and eligibility practices, medical terminology and paperwork processing requirements. Familiarity with CPT and ICD-9 coding.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to keyboard proficiently

The hourly rate for this position is$16.00. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications,geographic locationetc. Final compensation is determined based on education, experience, certifications, and geographic factors.
