Job summary

Cepheid in Lodi, CA is hiring a Scheduler who will align material availability with the production plan and coordinate with Logistics, Manufacturing and Planning teams. This on-site role runs swing shift 2pm–10:30pm and reports to the Sr. Materials Supervisor.

You will oversee daily scheduling, maintain inventory levels and ensure safety compliance, leveraging ERP systems like SAP or Oracle NetSuite. A high school diploma with 3+ years in scheduling or supply chain is required.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; higher degree preferred.
• 3+ years experience in production scheduling, MRP, forecasting inventory control, or supply chain management.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle NetSuite.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to generate operational reports.

The Scheduler is responsible for ensuring allocated material is on site to satisfy production schedule requirements. This role works closely with Logistics, Manufacturing, and Planning teams to ensure material flows are aligned with production needs and available warehouse space.

This position reports to the Sr. Materials Supervisor and is part of the Logistics Department located in Lodi, CA and will be an on-site role. The shift for this position will be swing shift, 2pm to 10:30pm

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Oversee Daily Scheduling Coordinate production schedules for consumables manufacturing to ensure continuous uptime.
• Maintain Inventory Levels Monitor stock levels, run reports regularly, and ship out dwelling material as needed.
• Ensure Safety Compliance Follow all safety protocols and help maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment in accordance with OSHA standards.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Education High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelors degree in supply chain, Logistics, or related field preferred. 3+ Years of Experience Demonstrated experience in production scheduling, MRP, and forecasting inventory control, or supply chain management (no cap on years).
• Systems Proficiency Hands-on experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as SAP or Oracle NetSuite
• Technical Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ability to generate operational reports.

The salary range for this role is $30-$32. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
