Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a Scheduler to support Fort Hood construction projects. You will develop and maintain CPM schedules using Primavera P6, coordinate with engineers and estimators, and ensure compliance with federal scheduling requirements.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of scheduling experience, RMS 3.0 proficiency, and to pass federal background checks. This is a full-time on-site role at Fort Hood, TX, with a competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering or a related field.
• 5–10 years of relevant construction scheduling experience.
• USACE or federal project experience preferred.
• Experience developing and managing CPM schedules using Primavera P6 or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of federal scheduling requirements and contract administration.
• Experience reviewing updates, TIAs, recovery schedules, and change orders.
• Experience using RMS 3.0.
• CCM and PSP certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, analyze, and maintain detailed CPM construction schedules using Primavera P6.
• Ensure schedules reflect all construction phases, milestones, logic ties, and float.
• Review baseline, updates, TIAs, and recovery schedules for adequacy and compliance.
• Verify compliance with Division 01 scheduling requirements and narratives.
• Identify variances, analyze impacts, and propose mitigation for delays.
• Prepare written reports and present findings to Government personnel.
• Coordinate with estimators and engineers to align cost, schedule, and progress.
• Provide monthly schedule performance reports with Gantt charts and forecasts.
• Assist with change orders and assess schedule impacts of modifications.
• Monitor Government-furnished services and long-lead items affecting critical path.
• Review A-E schedules to validate performance periods.
• Develop initial schedules for in-house design projects to establish durations.

Position Summary

The Scheduler will provide construction scheduling support for federal construction projects at Fort Hood, Texas. The selected candidate will develop, maintain, analyze, and review project schedules using Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling techniques and Primavera P6 or other Government-approved scheduling platforms. The Scheduler will work closely with project teams to ensure compliance with contract requirements, monitor project performance, evaluate schedule impacts, and provide recommendations to support successful project delivery.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Develop, analyze, and maintain detailed CPM construction schedules using Primavera P6 or other Government-approved scheduling software.
• Ensure schedules reflect all phases of construction activities, contract milestones, logic ties, constraints, sequencing, and float values.
• Review contractor baseline schedules, monthly updates, time impact analyses (TIAs), and recovery schedules for technical adequacy and compliance.
• Verify compliance with Division 01 scheduling requirements, including schedule formats, update frequencies, narratives, milestones, and phasing requirements.
• Identify schedule variances, analyze impacts to project milestones, and provide recommendations to mitigate delays and recover lost time.
• Prepare written reports and present schedule findings during meetings with Government personnel and project stakeholders.
• Coordinate with cost estimators, project engineers, and construction representatives to align project cost, schedule, and field progress.
• Provide monthly schedule performance reports including Gantt charts, narrative analyses, trend evaluations, and completion forecasts.
• Assist with change order preparation and evaluate schedule impacts associated with contract modifications.
• Monitor Government-furnished services, long-lead items, and contractor submittals that may impact the critical path.
• Review A-E estimated construction schedules to validate project periods of performance.
• Develop initial construction schedules for in-house design projects to establish accurate contract durations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant construction scheduling experience.
• US Army Corps of Engineering (USACE) or other federal construction project experience, preferred
• Experience developing and managing CPM schedules using Primavera P6 or equivalent Government-approved scheduling software.
• Strong understanding of federal construction project scheduling requirements and contract administration.
• Experience reviewing schedule updates, TIAs, recovery schedules, and change order impacts.
• Experience using RMS 3.0.
• CMAA Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification preferred.
• AACE Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP) certification preferred.
