Carle Health is seeking a Scheduler to accurately screen and respond to callers, schedule appointments, and complete pre-registration documentation across multiple work queues. You will document inquiries from patients and providers to direct them to the right providers or services.
You will educate patients about insurance, payment options, and Carle services, verify demographics and insurance details, handle messages, and ensure timely communication among patients, providers, and staff.
The Scheduler is responsible for accurately screening and completing callers' inquiries by telephone and through the various work queues. Responsible for accurately documenting inquiries from patients and providers for screening, scheduling, and directing patients to appropriate providers, services, or levels of care. Provides information to patients to utilize and benefit from all of Carle's services. Facilitates communication between self, providers, and patients to ensure that the patient's needs are met. Schedulers are responsible for the scheduling and pre-registration of patients.

The compensation range for this position is $17.67per hour - $28.63per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
