Job summary

Granite Construction Incorporated is seeking an experienced Planning & Scheduling professional to provide region-wide support for CPM schedules across proposals and projects. You will guide teams, design project schedules, and ensure conformance with company standards and specifications.

The role requires 5–10 years in a similar position, strong MS Office and Primavera skills, and familiarity with JD Edwards or One World.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business (or comparable discipline) or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • 5 to 10 years’ experience in a related position.
  • Demonstrated proficiency of MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and Access
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word and Primavera (P3/P6)
  • JD Edwards and One World experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge of construction industry
  • Good written and oral communication skills to effectively disseminate information
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with a close attention to detail
  • Self-starter; able to seek out resources and structure own workflow
  • Ability to work well with all levels of staff, as well as external customers

Responsibilities

  • Review and guide scheduling requirements across proposals and projects.
  • Develop project schedules and proposal CPM schedules.
  • Provide monthly updating and reporting procedures.
  • Support scheduling engineers and maintenance of project controls procedures.
  • Assist with development of scheduling standards and procedures.
  • Train on P6 Web tool and related software.
