Job summary

Crystal Group, located in Iowa, is seeking a Scheduler to plan and coordinate production timelines on-site, Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. The role reports to the Director of Production within Purchasing, and involves close collaboration across sales, engineering, production, and procurement.

The Scheduler will develop and maintain schedules, analyze data to optimize lead times, and monitor progress to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Must have 2 years of planning and/or MRP experience.
  • Knowledge of time management and inventory practices helps.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and communicate with internal customers.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains the production schedule based on demand forecast, sales orders, and resource availability.
  • Analyzes production and inventory data to optimize scheduling and reduce lead times.
  • Collaborates with sales, engineering, production, and procurement to ensure alignment.
  • Monitors progress against the schedule to identify issues and implement changes as needed.
  • Conducts regular meetings with stakeholders to communicate scheduling changes and impacts to delivery.
