Job summary

Adventureland Park in Altoona, IA is seeking a Scare Actor to bring our haunted experiences to life. You will perform in mazes or scare zones, transform into frightening characters, and interact with guests in character while maintaining safety standards.

Auditions or training may be required, and candidates must be at least 16 years old with flexible weekends and holidays availability. Experience is a plus but not mandatory, with opportunities for seasonal work and cross-training across park

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age to comply with Iowa Child Labor Laws.

Responsibilities

• Entertain guests with frighteningly fun performances by delivering realistic and scary performances.
• Consistently remain in character during scheduled shifts.
• Effectively scare guests as they move through scare zones.
• Greet and interact with all guests in a scary, engaging manner.
• Maintain a safe environment by keeping space between self and guests and following safety standards.
• Use props, lights, or noise makers to enhance the scare experience.
