Job summary

Harps Stores is seeking a Scanning Coordinator to ensure price integrity and fast, friendly service. You will review daily procedures, download price changes, send updates to the POS, complete category verification and maintain accurate signage and pricing.

You will manage shelf and display maintenance, handle tags and signage, solve problems with critical thinking, uphold safety and quality, build relationships with customers, and demonstrate professionalism, integrity and a strong customer

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum one year experience operating a cash register in a retail establishment, preferably in a grocery store.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Adaptable to different situations and changing priorities and procedures.
• Moves, lifts and carries merchandise up to 25 pounds when required.

Responsibilities

• Price maintenance: review daily procedures, download price changes, send updates to POS, verify categories and maintain pricing integrity.
• Shelf and display maintenance: manage tags/bibs, signs, pricing and signage for ads and promotions.
• Problem solving: define issues clearly and use critical thinking to resolve queries.
• Safety/quality orientation: emphasize high-quality products and safe work practices.
• Customer focus: deliver superior customer service and build relationships with customers.
