Job summary

MAC.BID is hiring for a Scanline Floater at Pittsburgh Mills in Tarentum, PA. This full-time hourly, non-exempt role supports the scan team by preparing and positioning products and removing scanned items according to our system.

You will inspect inbound products, categorize items, lift up to 50 pounds with team lifting, and move items to bays. On-site work with a 30-minute lunch and weekly pay, with benefits after set periods.

Qualifications

• Availability to work on-site. Schedules may vary Monday through Saturday, depending on location, 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift.
• Must be tech-savvy.
• Must be able to stand and walk for hours at a time.
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect inbound products for obvious defects
• Categorize each product as Like New, Open Box, or Damaged
• Test electronics at a basic level to assess general condition
• Move products to the conveyor for the scanners to process
• Remove the scanned product from the scanning area quickly
• Move products to the bays, putting them on the shelves according to auction and lot number
• Be responsible for helping the team meet quantity and quality goals
• Sweep and remove trash from empty bays and mobile scan area
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management
