Job summary

Raley's in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a dependable backup scanning clerk to join our store team. You will perform cashier duties while ensuring accurate product pricing, proper UPC shelf tags, shelf signs and display signage.

Responsibilities include updating pricing across departments, processing transactions, stocking shelves, and delivering fast, friendly customer service. You may also assist with price checks and communicate with the pricing integrity team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Stand for long periods and lift 30–50 lbs.
• Able to operate cash register and handle transactions.
• Read UPC codes, product labels, shelf signage, and policies.
• Friendly, helpful interaction with customers and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Updating product pricing throughout the department.
• Pulling and using transmitted files for new items, discontinued items, and new pricing.
• Ensuring new shelf tags and signage are hung properly and timely.
• Facilitating price checks and communicating with pricing integrity.
• Maintaining a positive attitude with customers and team members.
• Engaging customers with greetings, information, and selling suggestions.
• Processing cash register transactions and related payments.
• Understanding pricing, signage, and UPC codes for shelf placement.
• Keeping check stand and work areas clean and orderly.
• Stocking products and rotating as needed; perform other duties.
