El Rio Grande Latin Market is seeking a pricing and scanning coordinator in Dallas to support pricing integrity, weekly ads, and signage across the store. You will ensure pricing accuracy, assist front-end staff, and communicate with corporate on price changes.

The role requires a high school diploma and familiarity with billing, accounting principles, and Microsoft Office. You will monitor ads, perform scan audits, and maintain compliant signage to uphold our pricing program.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent and 1–3 months related experience and/or training.
• Must be able to understand and effectively use billing and accounting principles and processes.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills to analyze total scanning programs, and to properly maintain necessary reports and schedules.
• Strong communication skills for dealing with customers, employees, and vendors.
• Work with receiving by verifying invoices entered in the system
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
• In conjunction with the pricing team, maintain price file integrity
• Excellent mathematical skills

Responsabilidades

• Provide prompt and friendly customer service.
• Checks for price updates from the corporate office and verifies, changing as needed.
• Monitors sales events for accuracy in scanning and signage; maintains knowledge of weekly ad items and ensures pricing integrity.
• Performs scan audits according to schedule.
• Ensures compliance with company and governmental regulations and COOL compliance.
• Maintains clean and organized scan office. Check dates of all sales price tags for accuracy.
• Conducts a total sign program informing customers of pricing integrity and creates signs as needed.
• Verifies weekly ad and promotional price accuracy.
• Researches discrepancies and notifies team of pricing exceptions.
• Acts as liaison with leadership for computer or register issues. Verifies new items for price accuracy.
• Promotes 100% scan accuracy program.
• Works with front-end cashiers and supervisors regarding scan accuracy.
• Distribute discontinued sheets and upcoming specials to appropriate personnel.
• Establishes and maintains communication between Grocery Clerks and Scanning Coordinator for product transitions.
• Represents the store to sales representatives and vendors in a positive and professional manner.
• Informs management of any problem areas in pricing or signs throughout the store.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Essential Job Functions

• Promotes 100% scan accuracy program.
• Works closely with front-end cashiers and supervisors regarding scan accuracy.
• Distribute discontinued sheets and upcoming specials to appropriate personnel.
• Establishes and maintains communication between Grocery Clerks and Scanning Coordinator for a smooth transition of products being delivered.
• Represents the store to sales representatives and vendors in a positive and professional manner.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• High school diploma or equivalent and 1-3 months related experience and/or training; or acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to understand and effectively use billing and accounting principles and processes.

Physical Requirements

• Requires frequent lifting and carrying of between 15 to 20 lbs.
• Requires frequent squatting and kneeling
