Job summary

Piggly Wiggly Midwest LLC in the United States is seeking an Asst Coord, Scan to ensure file integrity across the store. You will perform daily price audits and changes, interact with vendors and receivers, and verify correct prices on shelves and in the system.

The role emphasizes friendly customer service, signage creation, pricing file maintenance, and reducing shrink. 1st shift, full-time, with expectations to follow directions from the scan coordinator; travel is not required.

Position Overview

The Asst Coord, Scan is responsible for ensuring file integrity throughout the store. This role performs daily/weekly price audits/changes, as well as interacting with vendors and receiver to ensure authorized merchandise is brought into the store and verifying correct prices in system/on shelves. They will also be responsible for providing attentive and friendly customer service.

• Store : Store/Grocery Warehouse (50F to 90F)

Skills

• Specialized Knowledge : Regular vision and attention to detail. Ability to read, write, and perform basic math functions. Basic working knowledge of computers.
• Special Skills : Ability to learn, differentiate, and retain information regarding product lines/locations . Promote sales through courteous and friendly customer service.
• Physical abilities: : Occasional amounts of pushing/pulling loads up to 20 lb. Frequent amounts of handling, standing, and reaching. Constant amounts of walking, crouching, and bending.
• Other: : Operation of the following: cash register, video display unit, POS, printer, computer, and pricing gun.

Years Of Experience

• 1-2 : Prior experience in retail or grocery operations preferred.
