Georgia-Pacific in Fordyce, AR seeks a Scaler to track inbound and outbound loads using computer systems to help maximize production and maintain quality. The role requires inspecting loads, recording data, and supporting safety plus housekeeping activities in a busy mill environment.
You will collaborate with logging contractors and foresters to resolve wood quality issues, maintain inventories, and generate daily and periodic reports for various stakeholders.
Georgia-Pacific has an immediate opening for a Scaler in Fordyce, AR. This person will use multiple computer systems to track incoming products to ensure that production is maximized and quality maintained. If you enjoy learning new things and would like the opportunity to work with computers and systems in a manufacturing environment, this is the position for you!
Shift: Monday - Friday 5:00am to approximately 1:00pm CT with occasionally working Saturdays and/or holidays. This role supports the Gurdon location as well.
