Job summary

WM in Texas is seeking a Scale House Clerk to be the first point of contact for customers depositing waste at a WM Facility. You will calculate payments, verify loads for safety, and ensure everyone follows safety rules and PPE requirements while delivering friendly customer service.

The role includes data entry, filing, and reporting tasks, with opportunities for training and career growth within the company’s strong benefit package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (accredited).

Responsibilities

• Greets customers, directs traffic, and answers questions accurately.
• Calculates payments for customers.
• Ensures loads are safe and do not contain inappropriate material.
• Enforces safety rules and PPE usage.
• Maintains the Scale House and performs administrative tasks.
• Completes reports and regular filings.
• Keeps supervisor informed of issues.
• Attends training and meetings; may work overtime.
• Performs data entry and minor customer service tasks.
• All encounters with customers and vendors are friendly and service-oriented.
