Job summary

Amrize in Mansfield, TX is seeking a Scale Operator - Temporary to ensure accurate tickets and smooth flow of truck traffic at the scale. You will coordinate dispatch orders, verify ticket details, collect COD money, and maintain records.

The role also involves basic administrative duties, keeping the scale house clean, and supporting plant staff. We value a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and may require a Weigh Master License in some states; competitive benefits and paid time off

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and understanding of hardware/software.
• Weigh Master License may be required in some states.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates truck dispatch to jobs and operates computer to produce tickets.
• Verifies tickets for numbers, date and time accuracy.
• Collects COD money and records it properly.
• Sends transaction register and ticket copies to main office daily.
• Tares trucks (empty weight) weekly and records tons sold by product.
• Maintains product knowledge to answer customer questions.
• Performs housekeeping to keep scale house clean and orderly.
• Assists Plant employees as required.
