Job Description:

The scale clerk supports the movement of grain through Ag Valley's elevator system.

Job Duties:

• Operate scale weighing both inbound and outbound trucks
• Sampling, grading, and testing grain
• Operate scale computers
• Printing and filing tickets
• Directing customers to proper dumping stations
• Communicate with elevator staff on types and quality of grain received
• Front line customer service duties

Education/Experience:

Basic math, computer, and organizational skills essential; Excellent communication and customer service skills required; Attention to detail, Accurate data entry skills, Ability to work in close proximity to grain and grain dust; job requires employees to be on their feet in a fast-paced environment; Applicant should be able to work extended harvest hours.
