Job summary

Brown & Root Industrial Services in Louisiana is seeking a field position to support construction and maintenance activities. The role involves reading instructions, planning work, and moving materials, tools, and equipment between locations.

You will operate company vehicles up to 30 tons, load and unload materials, and follow all safety rules, wearing required PPE. Reports to the Foreman or General Foreman and may perform other duties as directed.

Qualifications

• 2 years related experience required.
• Appropriate license required.

Responsibilities

• Reads and interprets instructions, directions and plans work activities.
• Operates company vehicles up to 30 tons to move materials, tools and equipment.
• Loads and unloads vehicles to support construction and maintenance activities.
• Follows all safety rules and uses required personal protective equipment.

Reports to and receives assignments, instructions, and direction from the Foreman or General Foreman. Reads and interprets instructions and documentation and plans work activities. Operates company vehicles with capacity of up to 30 tons to move materials, tools, and equipment to and from work locations in support of construction and maintenance activities and/or deliver operating materials and supplies from one warehouse to another. Loads and unloads vehicles. Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment. Performs other duties and activities as directed.
