Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is hiring a Scaffold Helper 2 to assist in erecting and dismantling scaffolding, pass materials from ground level, and help keep the work area safe and organized on job sites across North America.

The role requires basic trade school exposure, knowledge of scaffolding types, and the ability to handle tools and lifting. Bilingualism is a plus; strong teamwork and safety mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Some trade school preferred but not required.
• Good working knowledge of the different types and sizes of the scaffolding materials.
• Familiar with the erection process and readiness of components per the scaffolding layout.
• Must have proper tools.
• Bilingual is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the erection and dismantling of scaffolding.
• Pass materials to crew members from ground level or on the scaffold.
• Assist in stacking material for shipping and keep the work area safe and orderly.

Sunbelt Rentals--the fastest growing rental business in North America--is seeking a Scaffold Helper 2.

Scaffold Helper 2 will assist in the erection and dismantling of various types of scaffolding by passing material to other crew members from the ground level or stationary position on the scaffold. Will also assist in the stacking of material for shipping, and keeping the work area safe, neat and orderly throughout the job.

Education or experience that prepares you for success:

• Some trade school preferred but not required
• Good working knowledge of the different types and sizes of the scaffolding materials being used
• Familiar with the erection process regarding the preparation and readiness of required components per the scaffolding lay out
• Must have proper tools
• Bilingual is a plus but not required

The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 40 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job. Base Pay Range: $17.75 - 19.61

Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
