Brown & Root Industrial Services seeks an experienced carpenter to oversee crews building, positioning, and dismantling wooden structures including scaffolds and temporary frames. You will read blueprints, prepare materials, and follow project standards on site.
The role requires attention to safety, accurate measurement, and the ability to work at heights; good teamwork and communication are essential, with equal opportunity employment.
Oversee crew(s) that builds, positions, and dismantles wooden structures, such as concrete forms, scaffolds, tunnel and sewer supports, and temporary frame shelters, according to sketches, blueprints, or company standards.
QUALIFICATIONS May require a high school diploma or its equivalent with previous years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Will require independent judgement in direction of crew(s). Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
