Sunbelt Rentals is hiring a Scaffold E&D Carpenter to join our field crew. You will support scaffold assembly, material handling, and mentorship for junior helpers while maintaining safety and productivity on job sites.

The role offers practical on-the-job training, opportunities for skill growth, and a path within a fast-growing North American rental company.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and use of various types of scaffolding materials.
• Must be able to erect and dismantle scaffolding under supervision.
• General knowledge of scaffolding types and sizes; must have the proper tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in stacking and counting scaffolding materials received on site or to be shipped.
• Assist Lead Carpenter/Foreman as mentor to E/D Helpers 1 and 2 to aid development.
• Support a safe, efficient scaffold construction process on job sites.

Job Description Summary

Scaffold E&D Carpenter

Sunbelt Rentals–the fastest growing rental business in North America–is seeking a Scaffold E&D Carpenter.

Assist in the stacking and counting of scaffolding materials being received on the job site or being shipped from the job site, along with preparing material to be shipped.

Assist the Lead Carpenter and/or Foreman by acting as a mentor and coach to the E/D Helpers 1 and 2 to aid in their development.

Education or experience that prepares you for success:

• Some trade school preferred but not required
• Scaffold E/D Helper 2 for a minimum of 1 year or approved equivalent experience
• Ability to work comfortably and safely at considerable heights
• Bilingual a plus

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities you may rely on:

• Knowledge and use of various types of scaffolding materials
• Must be able to erect and dismantle scaffolding under the supervision of the Foreman and/or Lead Carpenter
• Must have a general knowledge of the different types and sizes of scaffolding materials being used
• Must have the proper tools

The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 40 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job.

Base Pay Range: $17.75 - 21.15

Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
