Job Description

• Erect, alter, disassemble, move, repair and inspect scaffolds
• Review blueprints or specifications to determine work requirements
• Complete assigned scaffold tasks with quality workmanship
• Operate a variety of power/manual tools and equipment used in scaffold carpentry
• Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment
• Ability to perform all job duties and associated work functions in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
• Perform heavy physical labor
• Ability to follow instructions from supervisors and foremen
• Knowledge of carpentry and construction techniques and procedures
• On-the-job training offered; This position is safety-sensitive

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to perform basic math
• Able to withstand prolonged periods standing and working outside
• Physically able to perform assigned tasks
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time
