Job summary

CD Specialty Contractors is seeking a full-time, on-site Scaffold Insulator based in Commerce City, CO. You will read plans, assemble and dismantle scaffolds, and install insulation on piping, equipment, and ductwork, while adhering to safety standards.

You will work closely with supervisors and crew, maintaining organized work areas and following project schedules and quality controls. Prior experience in insulation/scaffolding is valued and CSCS certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Reading and interpreting basic construction drawings and following written instructions.
• Safe assembly, modification, and dismantling of scaffold structures.
• Working at height with fall protection equipment.
• Knowledge of confined space entry procedures and permits.
• CSCS or equivalent safety credential is preferred.
• Experience in insulation and scaffolding environments is beneficial.
• Physical ability to lift, climb, and work in varying weather conditions.

Role Description

This full-time, on-site role based in Commerce City, CO involves building, modifying, and dismantling scaffolding systems and installing and maintaining mechanical insulation on industrial and commercial projects. Daily tasks include reading and following work plans and drawings, assembling scaffold structures, ensuring proper bracing and anchoring, and applying insulation materials to piping, equipment, and ductwork. Team members are expected to follow all safety procedures, including fall protection and confined space protocols, and to maintain clean and organized work areas. The role requires close collaboration with supervisors and crew members, accurate use of tools and equipment, and adherence to project schedules and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Scaffolding, including safe assembly, modification, and dismantling of scaffold structures.
• Candidates should possess skills related to Working at Height and Fall Protection, including proper use of harnesses, lanyards, and other safety systems.
• Candidates should possess skills in Confined Space work, including understanding entry procedures, permits, and monitoring requirements.
• Candidates should possess relevant certifications such as CSCS or equivalent safety and construction credentials.
• Experience in industrial or commercial insulation and scaffolding environments is highly beneficial.
