Qualifications

Scaffold Builder Superintendent (East Coast)

Job Summary

The Scaffold Builder Superintendent is the authorized and competent person responsible for overseeing the erection and dismantling of scaffolds for the East Coast facility. This individual leads the scaffold crew, ensuring all work is performed safely and that all team members understand the task at hand. The superintendent is authorized to inspect and sign off on scaffolds and is responsible for daily JSAs, toolbox meetings, and organizing work tasks. They act as the main point of communication with the Person in Charge (P.I.C.) at the job site, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed before beginning work. The supervisor is also responsible for submitting time tickets and addressing any job site concerns via email to office personnel.

• Proficiency in reading and completing JSAs, daily reports, and time ticket submissions.
• Ability to inspect scaffolds and verify 100% completion.
• Experience in scaffold erection and hands-on assistance when necessary.
