Job summary

Performance Contracting is seeking a Scaffold Builder to erect, dismantle, and service scaffolds within the Portland area. You’ll review blueprints, select materials, and ensure safe, efficient on-site operations in a team setting.

Role requires safety consciousness, ability to travel, and a proactive attitude. Prior experience is preferred but not essential; training is provided. This is a safety-sensitive position with competitive pay.

Scaffold Builders will construct, dismantle, maintain and repair wooden and metal scaffolds and auxiliary structures related to scaffold.

Pay Range: 43.75 Hourly

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Erection and/or removal of scaffold per work order
• Review blueprints and specifications to determine dimensions of structure
• Examine, select and gather materials and tools
• Load and transport equipment to location on-site
• Work on teams to erect or remove scaffold
• Inspect base for obstruction
• Use carpentry hand tools such as hammers, levels, squares, screw drivers, adjustable locking pins and wheels to
  job specifications
• Observe and comply with all safety process and procedures
