Job summary

SodexoMagic is hiring a SCA Cook II to prepare nutritious dishes and deliver strong customer service. You will work in a weekday schedule with morning and afternoon/evening shifts, earning $18–$19 per hour as a full-time employee.

As a team player, you will help reduce food waste and contribute to a safe, positive kitchen environment. Benefits and growth opportunities are available depending on location.

Qualifications

• Team-oriented, adaptable and reliable; fosters a healthy and safe work environment.
• 3 or more years of related work experience in cooking or food preparation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare large quantities using various cooking methods for meats, fish, poultry and vegetables; prepare gravies, soups, sauces and casseroles.
• Attend scheduled shifts on time with regularity.
• Perform other duties as assigned per client requirements.

What You’ll Do

As a SCA Cook II at SodexoMagic, you are a team player and food waste reducer. You’ll prepare and create nutritious dishes while putting customer service at the heart of everything you do.

Responsibilities include

• Prepare large quantities, by various methods of cooking, meat, poultry, fish, and vegetables, seasons and cooks all cuts of various meats, fish, and poultry, boils, steams, or fries vegetables, makes gravies, soups, sauces, roasts, meat pies, fricassees, casseroles, and stews.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
