Job summary

LA International is seeking a Procurement Manager for a hybrid-working arrangement on a 6-month initial contract. The role focuses on sourcing and procuring a range of enabling services, including mobile and telecommunications, transport, and health and safety services, plus other operational support.

You will lead end-to-end procurement exercises, work with stakeholders to develop specifications, run market research, manage tenders, negotiate terms, and ensure compliance and auditable records.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sourcing and procuring enabling services such as mobile, transport, and health and safety.
• Experience with public sector procurement regulations and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement exercises from requirements gathering through to supplier selection and award.
• Work with internal stakeholders to understand requirements, develop specifications and identify suitable procurement routes.
• Undertake market research, obtain quotations, manage tender exercises and evaluate supplier submissions.
• Negotiate pricing and commercial terms to secure value for money.
• Provide procurement advice and guidance to stakeholders, ensuring compliance with public sector procurement legislation, financial regulations and internal procedures.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure decisions are transparent, properly approved and auditable.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings, improved efficiency and better purchasing outcomes.
• Manage multiple procurement activities and priorities, ensuring delivery within agreed timescales.
