Job summary

MedSrv, LLC is seeking a dedicated Revenue Cycle Management Legal Associate to join our expanding team. You will review information from attorneys, auto insurance carriers, hospitals, medical practices, courts, and record retrieval firms, contributing to a team that values integrity and precision in revenue cycle management.

The role involves handling liability accounts, bankruptcy cases, deceased patient estates, and administrative support duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related experience or training.
• Knowledge of office software and medical billing software.
• Professional, polite, and customer-service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Review and manage liability/attorney accounts, including settlements with attorneys/insurance reps and ensure billing and medical record requests are fulfilled.
• Verify bankruptcy information and close/document cases per workflow; request Proofs of Claims when needed.
• Verify date of death and estate information; close/document in systems per workflow.
• Support all teams in NACS Collection and Legal by handling correspondence requests and producing affidavits; assist with monthly reports.

Position Overview

MedSrv is seeking a dedicated and detail-orientedRevenue Cycle Management Legal Associateto join our expanding team. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving and reviewing critical information from a variety of sources, including attorneys, auto insurance carriers, hospitals, medical practices, courts, and record retrieval companies. What You’ll Do

• Liability/Attorney Accounts -Review and maintains follow up on accounts attorney represented, third party liability, PIP/Med Pay. Including negotiating settlements with attorneys/insurance reps and assuring billing and medical record requests are fulfilled.
• Bankruptcy Accounts- Verifies Bankruptcy information through the various websites and court systems. Close/document various systems according to established workflow. Requests Proof of Claims filed with the court when necessary. Maintain follow up on cases until Discharged/Dismissal.
• Deceased Patient Team- Verifies Date of Death and estate information through the various websites and court systems. Close/document various systems according to established workflow.
• Admin Support Team– Supports all teams in the NACS Collection and Legal department by completing correspondence requests. Create and complete Affidavits. Scanning correspondence and enclosures to related account. Completes monthly reports as assigned by management.

• Strong focus and ability to concentrate for extended periods

Physical Requirements

• Able to work at a computer for extended periods.
• Occasionally lift up to 15 lbs.
